Fractions

Each player will be given the opportunity to choose one of 3 factions:

  1. Resistance

  2. Invaders

  3. Underground

The main advantage of joining a faction is the ability to gain passive and active abilities that help the player in battle. Each faction has its own unique set of 3 abilities, which are available for use as the player makes progress (rating increase):

Resistance: Passive ability – “resistance”. Increases health and block power by 4%. Passive ability – “not a step backward”. 5% chance to return hit to the opponent. Unique super attack.

Invaders: Passive ability – “persistence”. Increases the damage dealt by 4%. Passive ability – “rout”. 5% chance to stun an opponent for 2 seconds when tearing into him. Unique super attack.

Underground: Passive ability – “dexterity”. Gives 4% damage avoidance. Passive ability – “stealth”. 2% chance 2 times per game to become invisible for 5 seconds. Unique super attack.

The first ability can be used immediately after joining the faction, upon reaching a rating of 1000 Shrooms. The second ability opens at a rating of 3000 Shrooms and the third at 5000 Shrooms.

Those players who do not want to join any fraction after reaching a rating of 1000 Shrooms will receive a permanent passive “lone wolf” ability, which adds 2% to all characteristics of the fighter.

Only one of these abilities can be used constantly, the player can choose which ability suits him best in the style of the game.

Factions are a unique tool for balancing Smashrooms abilities. Each faction gives the player the ability to more accurately choose the direction of his fighter's development.

Fractions give the player the opportunity to participate in fractional tournaments, which will take place every month. The winning faction will receive very nice rewards. The rules of the tournament will be announced one week before start.
